The Lynx-ST-PO4 outdoor strobe is a network device with visual strobes and an audible alert. The LynxNet ODStrobe4 is activated by the LynxGuide server and can be activated until an all-clear is sent or a pre-set timer expires.

Communication Protocal
The LynxNet hardware and Lynx Client software achieves bidirectional communication through a client-initiated, persistent socket session to the LynxGuide server on ports 10117-10121. No network ingress connections are required. All server communications are TLS encrypted. In addition to providing security, this method is ideal if the hardware is behind a gateway, as no NAT rules are required to achieve connectivity.
