The LynxNet Dispatcher is a network-based device that allows any Lynx alarms to communicate with your existing radio system. The customer supplies one handheld Radio that is installed in the LynxNet Dispatcher.
Audio alerts from the LynxGuide server can be pre-recorded audio messages, or Text-to-speech generated audio messages. The pre-recorded audio file is stored on the server and associated with an alarm.
When the alarm is activated, the pre-recorded audio message is sent to the LynxNet Dispatcher and played. The Text-to-Speech generated audio messages are created when the alarm is activated, allowing for different messages to be created with dynamic data.
The Text-to-Speech function only takes seconds, then the voice message is sent to the LynxNet Dispatcher and played. Audio output level is digitally adjustable.
The LynxNet Dispatcher will broadcast on the one channel and frequency on a customer-supplied handheld radio. Multiple LynxNet Dispatchers may be used to cover multiple radio frequencies or channels. For example, security and maintenance radios.
