The LynxNet 4i is a network-based input device with 4 input channels. Power can be PoE. Configuration is easy with a 12 VDC Power or PoE supply and a direct Ethernet connection to a PC. Once configured, the LynxNet P2-M can operate on a 12 VDC Power, PoE supply, or the built-in PoE module.
When the input is activated, an alarm is sent to the LynxGuide server. The LynxNet 4i can be configured to activate any Lynx output or combination of outputs. The LynxNet 4i device can instantly send alerts from any dry contact closure inputs. Inputs are programmable as “Normally open” or “Normally closed” using the web interface.
Wire integrity to the endpoint of the inputs can be supervised using supplied EOL resistors. The test feature makes it easy to test alarms and create monthly reports. The LynxNet 4i input device is ideal for applications where existing duress buttons need updating, or any device with a relay output needs to be monitored.
Existing wiring can be used with the LynxNet 4i to allow the alarms to be sent to the LynxGuide server, activating any single or combination of Lynx Outputs.
